example 4 day tour

Day One: EDINBURGH - FIFE - INVERNESS
Depart Edinburgh and cross the mighty Forth Road Bridge into Fife and head for the home of golf - St. Andrews.
From here, head into the Highlands and 'Royal Deeside' for a stop in Braemar and glimpse Balmoral Castle, a private residence of the Royal Family.
A possible stop at a whisky distillery, Culloden Battlefield or the prehistoric burial chambers of Clava Cairns could be made on route to Inverness for an overnight stop.

Day Two: INVERNESS - PORTREE - ISLE OF SKYE
From Inverness you head west towards Loch Ness where you could visit one of the exhibitions about the loch and go for a cruise or visit Urquhart Castle.
Drive along Glen Morriston towards Loch Duich and one of Scotland's most photographed castles - Eilean Donan.
A bridge now connects this part of the mainland to the Isle of Skye.
Tour round the northern part of the island returning to spend the night in Portree.

Day Three: ISLE OF SKYE - MALLAIG - OBAN
Next day drive along the southern tip to Armadale, home of the Clan Donald museum.
Cross back to the mainland by ferry to Mallaig. On the way you pass Glenfinnan, with connections to Bonnie Prince Charlie and in recent times Harry Potter!
The Caledonian Canal and Ben Nevis, Britain's highest mountain, as you drive to Fort William. Southwards to Glencoe and overnight in Oban.

Day Four: OBAN - INVERARAY - LOCH LOMOND - GLASGOW From Oban explore the various stone circles and hill forts as you head for Inveraray, seat of the Clan Campbell, onto Loch Lomond and Glasgow.

"Thanks for all you did to create such wonderful memories for each and every one of us."
